Hello everyone, Giovanna here! Did you know that the Gelli Arts® YouTube channel has been an endless source of tutorials, tips, and inspiration for nearly 15 years? Every now and then, I love rediscovering their “oldie-but-goodie” videos.
For today’s post, I was completely inspired by one of them: ‘Gel Printing with styrofoam plates’.
I found some plastic and paper plates in my kitchen, decided to give it a go, and had so much fun! I hope this inspires you to dig out some disposable plates and turn them into unique prints of your own. I even used my prints to create a little booklet featuring a brand-new-to-me binding method: a flexible, no-sew, hinged accordion binding.
By pure coincidence, the limited color palette I chose ended up matching perfectly for a Halloween theme! Are you ready to see it? Enjoy! 😊
