Hello,
Giovanna here for this special week dedicated to the collaboration between
Gelli Arts® and Spellbinders®!
I created a set of colourful luggage tags to
travel in style, featuring some beautiful products designed by the one and
only Jane Davenport for Spellbinders:
Check out my video to see the process:
Tutorial:
– Roll out
small blobs of Charismattic Acrylic Paint on the plate, add texture with a
texture plate and pull a couple of prints on canvas paper cut to size.
Add more
layers using the sequinella stencil, printing front and back.
Ink the ‘Chatisma’ Glimmer Hot Foil Plate with archival ink, lay it face down on the tag, sandwiched and put through the embossing machine. These plates are designed to work with metallic foil, but in this case, I used them a bit out of the box and they worked beautifully.
Now for some
serious fun with the Lit Up and Chilled Palette Pastel Set: add shades, blush
and eyeshadow to the lovely face.
Cut an
opening to put the address in and glue the tag to another gel printed tag. To
make them sturdier you can laminate or cover them with a plastic film. Ready
to go!
