Steps:
-Spread on the Gelli® plate acrylic paint with a brayer keeping the colors separate to create a block pattern
-Press the sink mat and lift it
-Pull a print on the 12×12” paper
-Keep up to fill the whole paper
-For the paper back, usually a bit crowded, use only white or black or golden acrylic paint
-You can add some stencilling on both paper sides
-Spread acrylic paint on the plate, lay a stencil, pull a print, lift a stencil and pull the ghost print
-Gel print two 12×12’’ papers, one for the box and one for the booklet and use some loose gel prints for the inner pages
-For the box: score at 3” and 9”,rotate 90° and score at 4”1/2, 5”1/2, 10″ and 11″
-Cut and fold following the template
-For the booklet: score at 6”, rotate at 90° and score at 4.5”,5”,5.5”,6”,6.5”,7”,7.5”
-Decorate the box and booklet cover and pages before to assemble
-Glue the box closed
-Glue the inner pages to the concertina

- Acrylic paint
- Katzelkraft KTZ283 rubber stamp set
- Gelli Arts® ‘XXX’-‘Peackock’-‘Circle’ stencils

I don’t understand the paper size: 30”x30”. It looks like 12”x12”. Your score marks would indicate this as well.
Hi Maria! Sorry for any confusion. It is 30×30 cm or 12×12 inches!!
Did you mean 12 x 12″ paper? That was quite confusing in the description and I was very curious to see how you were going to print on REALLY big paper. Maybe you meant 30 x 30cm?

It appears that most of the paints you chose for this project, are transparent colors. Is that correct?
Hello, Giovanna used regular, high quality acrylic paint, in small quantity. That gives the transparency and the texture is more visible than when you use more paint. Hope It helps! 😊

Hi! Do you mean the pages inside the concertina? The folds allow to fit 4 pages because you can glue the first one on the first fold, and so on. Make a test with a square copy paper, following my template, you can play and make larger or smaller folds so you can fit more or less pages inside. Hope it helps!
What concertina?
Concertina Is when you fold back and front, like a fan. Hope It Is clearer.
Like an old fashioned squeeze box or piano accordion musical instruments. The cardboard or paper is folded so that it squeezes in to make a sound and than squeezes out to make a different sound. The cardboard folding is called a concertina. Google squeeze box and you will see it.
Concertina is when you fold up and down like when you create a fan. Hope it helps 🙂

Hi, I’m excited to try. Thank you so much for sharing. One question….Is the 12×12 scrapbook paper the thicker cardstock type or the thinner more like regular paper? I’m thinking cardstock thickness but it might be harder to score and fold.
Hi! Giovanna used the thicker cardstock type! For the box you can definitely use a very thick one, since you score it before folding it! Hope this helps.
