Hello everyone, today is all about how to get a grunge and worn look with your Gelli® plate. In this video I show you three different techniques involving felt, talc powder and a bit of corrugated cardstock to create a bunch of grunge tags and a matching tag holder. I definitely love this look!
Enjoy the video ☺

Steps:
For the 1st technique I use felt flowers as texture plates (you can die cut them from thin felt)
- Spread with a brayer some blob of acrylic paint on the Gelli® plate
- Lay the felt flower and press with copy paper
- Lift the felt flower and pull a print on white or kraft cardstock for a different effect
For the 2nd technique I’m using alcohol ink
- Spread with a brayer some drops of alcohol ink
- Sprinkle talc powder and let it dry
- Spread a thin layer of white acrylic paint on the Gelli® plate
- Pull a print on white or kraft cardstock for a different effect
For the 3rd technique I’m using mica powders and crystal pigments (such as Pixie, Magical, Brusho, Infusions)
- Sprinkle mica powders on the Gelli® plate
- Sprinkle pigment powders and activate them spraying water
- Pull a print on white or kraft cardstock for a different effect
To create the tag holder:
- Take a piece of corrugated cardstock (A4 size- 8”x11”)
- Fold along one side and along the bottom
- Fold a bit off center and trim the excess out
- Glue the flaps
- Use a gel print to decorate the front panel
- Glue the front panel and insert a ribbon to use as closure
