OBJECTIVE

ESSENTIAL QUESTION

SUPPLIES

STEP BY STEP

Step 1: Choose a lighter/vibrant color. Apply a layer of the paint to the plate.

Step 2: Roll paint out across entire plate.

Step 3: Take a piece of paper and press it down smoothly onto the plate.

Step 4: Pull the print!

Step 5: Choose a darker/contrasting color. Apply a layer of the paint to the plate.

Step 6: Roll paint out across entire plate.

Step 7: Place down a stencil, and use the print you just pulled with the lighter color over the plate and the print.

Step 8: Now place the stencil over the print, shifting it to the side slightly so you can see the first, lighter color peeking out from under the stencil.

Step 9: Apply an even lighter color onto the plate and roll it out (we recommend white).

Step 10: Take the plate and flip it over onto the print and the stencil, applying pressure just how you would normally on a print.

Step 11: Remove the plate and the stencil from the print to reveal your drop shadow print!
