Hello and welcome to the Gelli Arts® blog! We are excited to share our collaboration with Miss Mamamint, a mixed media brand based in Spain.
Today, we have guest bloggers Marta, Mayra and Natalia from Miss Mamamint’s design team!
Stay tuned for more projects from our Gelli Arts® Artists Mansi and Alexa, and take a look at Mariví’s previous Miss Mamamint x Gelli Arts® project from last month.
Mini Albums by Marta
Hello! For my project, I have made a mini album lined with fabric that I had decorated with the Gelli® plate and stencils.
After decorating the outer fabric, I sewed it onto cardboard to give it structure. I also adorned the exterior with flowers and Miss Mamamint chipboards.
For the interior, I used diecuts from the Natura collection by Miss Mamamint.

Mixed Media Tags by Mayra
Step by Step:
1.) Add different paint colors on to your Gelli® plate and extend them with the brayer.
2.) Put different textures on the paint; I used ribbon, a stencil and a stamp.
Then, pull a print.
Clean your plate and reapply more paint; adding other textures such as beads.
Or another stencil.
3.) Now, cut your paper into a tag shape and decorate with different elements such as stamps, chipboard, ribbon, stickers, etc.!

Tags and Art Journals by Natalia
Project 1: Mixed Media Tags
Hi! Natalia here of @LaMagiadelScrapbook. Here is my project for the Miss Mamamint and Gelli Arts® collaboration. You can use these tags in so many ways- just let your imagination run wild!
To make these tags, I used stencils and paints with my Gelli® plate to decorate the cards. To give them a special touch, I wanted to provide relief and texture by embossing with the beautiful wooden stamps by Miss Mamamint. I found using these techniques super fun and I loved my result- what do you think?
Project 2: Art Journal
For my second project, I made this little notebook that is perfect to carry around for writing down ideas, quotes, errands, etc. It’s also ideal for storing cards, tickets and everything else related to our day to day!
For the cover, I have made a triangle pattern using the wonderful Gelli® plate, brayer, stencil and acrylic paints. For the interior, I have created booklets with the beautiful Miss Mamamint Natura collection. I also used the diecuts of the Natura collection to decorate my cover.
I wanted to give it a special touch, so I decided to sew the spine and add wooden beads that match the colors of the Gelli Arts® Printmaking Starter Kit paints.
Now all you need to do is get to work. I hope these ideas inspire you for future projects!
