Gelli Arts® & DecoArt Summer of Fun Collaboration

We are excited to partner with DecoArt paint company this month!  Our design teams joined creative forces to come up with some fun projects using Gelli Arts® gel printing plates and DecoArt® Americana Premium!

Our first project is from Marsha Valk who created this summer fun collage art piece that made her think of summer days in the yard and vacations aboard:

Giovanna Zara brings alive a white cotton bag inspired by lovely succulents in her mum’s garden!

Find Giovanna’s full details and video here to create your own custom summer time bag!

Bob Pennycook takes us behind his studio for a walk in the forest.  He uses that forest for inspiration for many of his prints and paintings.  We love having such a wonderful fine artist on our team!

This is a five color, multi-layer print that started
as a photograph.  You can see his layering process HERE

One symbol of summer is pinwheels, and Kirsten Varga shows how to make colorful pinwheels using double sided monoprinted papers
using the 9×12 GelliArts® printing plate.

Kirsten provides awesome step-by-step instructions and video here to create your own!

Catherine Tonning-Popowich brings summer to life with these summer sunsets on canvas crossbody purses and artist canvas board for framing.

Catherine’s project details and video can be viewed here!  Really lovely!

Tania Ahmed brings us Gelli Printed Parchment Paper Flowers!  Recently she has been very flower obsessed, so she is growing them, looking at photos of them, painting them and now trying out making paper versions. She used Gelli Arts
Parchment Paper and found it was a good weight to make 3D flowers!

They are just gorgeous!  Tania created this great video hereto share how she makes them!  Absolutely gorgeous!

Jo Lawson transforms a teapot into a gorgeous gel print piece of art.  This is inspired by the dream of future garden tea parties with her daughter!

So many beautiful details and you can see her creative process here.

Lucy Brydon creates some summer fun theme prints inspired by the work of Wayne Thiebaud who printed fabulous works of sweets, cakes and ice creams!

You can view Lucy’s step-by-step details and video along with her inspiration here.
