Hi there! It’s Marsha here. Can you believe
there are only ~60 days left of 2017? Which means it’s time to think about
holiday greeting cards!
Let me inspire you by sharing five fun and
easy cards you can create with your kids using just the contents of the new Gelli
Arts® Card Printing Kit!
You can quickly adapt the images to your
taste and create any holiday card you need. You can also swap out the colours
and texture tools for other colors and textures for even more variety in the prints.
Star Card:
1. Take a foam sheet and draw a pattern on it with a ballpoint pen. Make
sure you give it lots of details!
2. Cut the silhouette of a star out of parchment paper.
3. Roll a drop of Sunbeam acrylic paint out on the 5”x5” Gelli Arts® gel printing
plate.
4. Place a blank card on top and pull a print.
5. Roll a drop of Cosmic Blue acrylic paint out on the Gelli Arts® gel printing
plate.
6. Press the foam sheet into the paint to make impressions.
7. Place the silhouette of the star in the middle of the plate, on top of
the paint.
8. Make sure the fold of the card is facing to the right and pull a print.
9. Add outlines and details with a crayon or pen.
Ornament Card:
1. Take a foam sheet and draw a tree ornament onto it with a ballpoint
pen. Make sure you give it lots of details!
2. Cut out the tree ornament.

4. Roll a drop of Chili Pepper acrylic paint out on the Gelli Arts® gel printing
plate.
5. Place the foam ornament stamp in the middle of the Gelli Arts® gel printing
plate, on top of the paint.
6. Remove the red paint around the stamp by placing a parchment paper
square on top and press it down before pulling it up again.
7. Remove the foam ornament stamp.
8. Make sure the fold of a blank card is facing to the right and pull a
print.
9. Roll a drop of Cosmic Blue acrylic paint out on the Gelli Arts® gel printing
plate.
10. Place the parchment paper shape on top of the printed ornament on the
card and put them both on top of the paint and pull a print.
11. Add outlines and details with a crayon or pen.

2. Roll a drop of Sunbeam acrylic paint out on the Gelli Arts® gel printing
plate.

5. Remove the punchinella and pull the ghost print onto a blank card.
6. Roll a drop of Chili Pepper acrylic paint out on the Gelli Arts® gel printing
plate.
7. Place the silhouette of the gift in the middle of the Gelli Arts® gel printing
plate, on top of the paint.

bow and adhere them on top of the printed gift image.

the paint.

Thank you Lori! Have fun Gelli printing!
If you're as lucky to get hold of embossed papers, or have a Sizzix/Cuttlebug die cutter/embosser- they really work great for making impressions in Gelli printing….any 'raised' patterned papers are quite efficient….
You are so right Dagny! I like to use wallpaper samples and embossing folders too!
I love this but Gelli should sell the 5” cards separately too since they are a non standard size. Anyone know where to find them?
So much inspiration for great ideas, thanks!
